YBEMB Fund

Connecting the point of need with the point of resource, YBEMB receives and administers funds for community services, house of worship and education for the peoples of Sarawak associated with BEM and for other charitable purposes.

We can regard it as a type of stewarded storehouse for the benefit of the people, similar to the storehouses recommended by Joseph to Pharaoh in Genesis 41.

Examples of the work supported by YBEMB:

Social Work and Services

• Relief aid for victims of misfortune, including but not limited to those affected by illness and disasters
• Those in need of moral or social rehabilitation or welfare

Assist the House of Worship

• Human resource development for the community e.g. schools, tuition, training, workshops, conferences, including entrepreneurship and financial literacy
• Facilities and building maintenance and renovation
• Audio-visual equipment, musical instruments, media creation and production
